Chengdu Tianfu Airport Day Rooms
A long layover at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport does not have to mean a terminal chair. The catch is that the walkable hotels sell normal overnight stays; the capsule hotel inside Terminal 2 is what exists for a short paid rest.

Take A Nap Hotel is inside Terminal 2, landside near arrivals exit B2. Cabins are private sleeping pods. Priority Pass and similar programmes have listed a limited daytime cabin stay; outside those hours you pay the hotel. No published day-use product at the conventional hotels
Tianfu Joyhub Cheer Hotel, Tianfu Joyhub Air Hotel and Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Tianfu Airport Zone sell standard rooms. Their official pages do not list an hourly cabin or a 10:00-to-16:00 day-use window. Cheer notes that early check-in can be free if a room is ready; that is not a published day-use product. Ibis listings show an earlier check-in than most hotels; confirm whether that helps a daytime layover.
For a layover that runs six hours or more, a normal short stay at Cheer or Air is usually simpler than trying to piece together an unpublished day room.
Closest proper bed
Cheer (524 rooms, about 400 metres) is the default layover hotel: walk from the Ground Transportation Centre, shower, eat breakfast if your rate includes it, walk back. Air (329 rooms) is the full-service neighbour in the same strip.
The Wanhui Center hotels (Holiday Inn Express, Ibis, Vienna, Hanting) only make sense for a daytime rest if you are already on that side of Jianyang or arriving by high-speed rail at Jianyang South.
